From cultivation to certification
Before olives are placed on the market as organic, they undergo a conversion period and are subject to regular inspections at all stages (cultivation, harvesting, processing, and packaging) by accredited certification bodies. Only then may they bear the European organic logo, the well-known green leaf, which guarantees compliance with strict European standards for quality and food safety.
