About OlivEU Organic
OlivEU Organic is a three-year promotional programme, co-financed by the European Union under Regulation (EU) No 1144/2014. Its objective is to highlight the authentic taste and the rich heritage of European organic table olives, as well as to increase their recognisability, demand, and exports in the target markets of France and Poland.

The programme focuses on France and Poland, two markets demonstrating growing interest in organic products, sustainable agriculture and certified European agri-food goods.

OlivEU Organic is addressed to:
- journalists and Mass Media,
- professionals in the agri-food and commercial sectors,
- consumers seeking organic table olives of high quality and certified European products.

Beneficiary
The three-year OlivEU Organic promotion program, co-funded by the European Union, is implemented in Greece and Poland by the Panhellenic Association of Processors, Standardizers and Exporters of Table Olives (PEMETE).
PEMETE was founded in 1970, with the objective of protecting and representing the interests of its members in the processing, standardization and export of Greek table olives.
PEMETE’s members represent:
- more than 95% of Greek table olive exports,
- over 85% of national production.
At the same time, PEMETE is a member of the National Interprofessional Organization for Table Olives (DOEPET), representing the secondary and tertiary sectors of the industry.
